More specifically, with optical perimetry (visual fields) we are in position to control central and peripheral vision (perception ability).<strong> HFA (Humphrey Field Analyzer)<\/strong> automated optical perimetry of high reliability is used in <strong>Aktis ophthalmological center (eye laser center).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/aktis.com.cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/HFA_visual_fields_aktis1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"HFA_visual_fields_aktis1\" alt=\"\u0391\u03c5\u03c4\u03cc\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03b7 \u03bf\u03c0\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae \u03c0\u03b5\u03c1\u03b9\u03bc\u03b5\u03c4\u03c1\u03af\u03b1 HFA\" src=\"https:\/\/aktis.com.cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/HFA_visual_fields_aktis1.jpg\" width=\"322\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/aktis.com.cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/HFA_visual_fields_aktis2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"HFA_visual_fields_aktis2\" alt=\"\u0391\u03c5\u03c4\u03cc\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03b7 \u03bf\u03c0\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae \u03c0\u03b5\u03c1\u03b9\u03bc\u03b5\u03c4\u03c1\u03af\u03b1 HFA\" src=\"https:\/\/aktis.com.cy\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/HFA_visual_fields_aktis2.jpg\" width=\"322\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>During the examination the patient is asked to look straight (a central point of the dome) and to identify a light. Once patient understands that bright stimulus (brightest spot) he \/ she has to click a button that holds in his \/ her hand. The stimuli set results help the formation of a vision map (e.g. nerve fibers percentage famaged from glaucoma is recorded). The examination is based on the patient\u2019s ability to identify the light.
